🐾 Jules & Yeti’s Tail-Waggin’ Tour of Green Cove Springs

Hi friends! Jules here (the river-loving Springer Spaniel) and Yeti (the treat-obsessed Pomski), and today we’re wagging our way through Green Cove Springs—a cozy riverside town that’s paws-itively perfect for pups like us!

Whether you’re a leash-loving lap dog or a zoomie-happy adventurer, Green Cove Springs has something to bark about. Here’s our guide to the best of pup life in the area:

🦴 Spring Park

Paws Up: 5/5
This place is pup paradise! Wide open lawns for rolling and sniffing, shaded walking paths, a splashy spring-fed pool for humans (sorry, no dogs allowed inside), and lots of squirrels to supervise. The river breeze is just chef’s kiss. Great for early morning walks or sunset sniffaris!

🐕‍🦺 Walking Along Walnut Street & Historic Downtown

Paws Up: 4.5/5
We love the sidewalks through town! The humans stroll past cute shops and cafes, and we tag along for outdoor tables and head pats from friendly locals. A few shopkeepers even leave out water bowls—A+ service.

🌳 Camp Chowenwaw Park Trails (Leashed Adventures)

Paws Up: 4/5
Just outside of town, this huge park has shady trails perfect for stretching our legs and smelling all the forest-y smells. Yeti keeps her eyes peeled for turtles, and Jules insists on sniffing every tree. Bring water and bug spray, but the nature vibes? Totally worth it.

🐾 Pet-Friendly Events & Markets

Paws Up: 4/5
On the third Saturday of each month, Spring Park hosts a big outdoor market. Lots of friendly dogs, handmade treats, and the occasional band playing. We strut our stuff and always get compliments. Plus—sometimes local pet vendors hand out free snacks. Yes please.

🐩 Grooming, Treats & Tail Wags

You’ll find paw-some care in Green Cove with spots like:

  • Spring Park Pet Spa – For when Jules rolls in mud (again) and needs a rinse.

  • Petco (just up Hwy 17) – Stocked with Yeti’s favorite chewies.

  • Mobile groomers – Because sometimes we just want spa day at home.

We give Green Cove Springs a tail-wagging 5 out of 5 Paws Up for being peaceful, pet-friendly, and full of places to walk, wag, and woof.

Signed with slobbery kisses,
🐾 Jules & Yeti – Resident Dog Team of The Griffin Team
